I started by reselling a hair supplement in Kenya. It moved fast against a modest ad spend, proof the demand was real. I looked for a US brand willing to build for that market first and couldn't find one, so I built TAJI myself. Before Kijivu, I spent years inside global health supply chains, including a $25 million malaria commodities program serving 60+ clinics in Sierra Leone. Kijivu is the same work. Moving a product that matters to the person who needs it, just with a company built around it this time.

One question
nobody had
a good answer
to.

Kijivu started with a question I couldn't answer. Why did every hair supplement on the market treat symptoms instead of causes? Iron deficiency, chronic stress, and hormonal shifts are the three things most commonly behind hair loss, and almost nothing on a shelf was built around any of them.

300 inquiries and a 200-person waitlist came in before TAJI launched in Kenya, with no paid marketing behind it.

That response came before Kenya even had a signed distributor. It has one now, along with an active PPB registration process. Kijivu is a wellness brand building a full nutrition platform, starting with TAJI, and it ships in the US and Kenya today.

What We Build

Shaped by one
place. Relevant
to many more.

Who Kijivu is For

Anyone who wants to address deficiencies by tackling the root cause.

How we formulate

Clinically studied ingredients, made in a GMP-certified US facility, formulated around what the body actually needs.

Where we're going

TAJI is the first product. Next is VUNA, built for pregnancy and lactation. After that is NILA, a lower-cost product designed for population-scale access. One customer insight, built out across every life stage.

Getting the details
right, on both continents.

Regulatory approval in Kenya, funding strategy, and financial controls are not things I do alone. Three advisors work on that with me.

Healthcare Market Access, Kenya

Founder of ArchImpact Health Advisory. Eight years leading healthcare market access and regulatory compliance across Kenya, including entry strategy for over 100 healthcare facilities. Leads PPB registration and KEBS compliance for Kijivu.

Andreea Grigorescu

Seven years of international development experience across the UN system, focused on inclusive finance and public-private collaboration in Africa. Advises Kijivu on funding strategy and non-dilutive capital.

Allie Jimenez
Finance, Global Health Supply Chains

Previously at Stord, where her work on pricing and operations delivered millions in added revenue. Earlier, she audited global health supply chains across more than 90 countries for the United Nations. Advises Kijivu on financial controls.

The Foundation

My faith in Jesus is my operating principle.

"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men." Colossians 3:23
