The Founder

I grew up in East Africa thinking about wellness the way most women there do, which is constantly, and rarely in a way the industry ever accounted for. I spent years working across sub-Saharan Africa watching the same pattern repeat itself: products made somewhere else, for someone else, shipped to a market that deserved better and was expected to be grateful. That pattern showed up in my own medicine cabinet too. So I stopped waiting for someone else to fix it.
Why Kijivu
One question
nobody had
a good answer
to.
Kijivu started as a question that had no good answer. Why was nothing built around root causes? Existing options were generic, and the people dealing with these issues most acutely were the ones being handed the least specific solutions.
What started in East Africa is already reaching two continents, with more on the way.
Kijivu is a wellness brand building a full product line for women, men, and children, everywhere. It started in East Africa. The standard doesn't change just because the origin does.

Our premier product, TAJI, a daily hair growth supplement, ships in the US and Kenya. A broader product line is in development.
